We continue the season-finale trilogy. Demona is dead-set on stealing the chemical D/I-7 from Xanatos Enterprises. Xanatos is trying to figure out why a reporter is suddenly interested in the gargoyles. To make matters worse, a trio of gargoyle Hunters has arrived and they’re packing serious firepower and serious grudges. Can the gargoyles escape these pack Hunters who are determined to take them down?

Welcome to part 1 of 3 in the Hunter’s Moon trilogy. These are the last three episodes of the season. And boy do they start with a bang! There are new characters and new nefarious plots. Demona is stealing Xanatos’s chemicals, but we don’t know why. Elisa is partnered with a new Detective, though, and they’re on the case, as is Matt Bluestone.

Soul swapping is never simple, and managing souls that don’t have bodies is no different. With Iago in Brooklyn, Desdemona in Angela, and Othello in Broadway, we’ve got a mess to fix. Plus, there are a few other souls floating around: Alex and Puck. Who’s going to sort this out? Leave that to the trickster fey and the 3-month-old Alex. Today’s episode is brought to you by subterfuge!

Xanatos wants to thank the clan for saving his son. What better thank-you than sorting out the three souls in Coldstone’s body? Problem is, Xanatos and Demona created Coldstone through science and sorcery. It will take science and sorcery again to sort out the souls. Without Demona, Xanatos doesn’t have any magic users at his disposal, though. Or does he? The answer is much closer than he thinks.

Thailog, Demona, and Fang lead Talon and the clan into a trap. It’s not the trap that our heroes expected, though. No, they’re about to walk into way more than they bargained for. They’ll see themselves in a new light. See, Thailog and Demona, with the help of Sevarius, have created clones of the clan. Will they be a match for themselves? And will blood ties be strong enough to change hearts?

If you can’t kill your enemy, what do you do with them? Put them in jail, right? What if you don’t have one? A jail, that is. Or laws, a judge, or a jury. You get your buddies to help you watch them. Yes, it cuts in on your social life, but it’s better than the alternative. The clan has captured Demona, and is guarding her in the Labyrinth. But this might be just what she wants.

Thomas Brod is muscling in on Tony Dracon’s turf, but the cops are already aware. Elisa will undertake a dangerous undercover mission to get evidence on Brod. And Dracon, while she’s at it. I know we’ve all seen this, but since we’re approaching the end of the series, I thought it would be good to see how far we’ve come. Gargoyles was originally a comedy, but Disney didn’t like the idea. It was a good call, for once. So back to the drawing board Greg went. This pitch is somewhere between comedy and our Gargoyles.

Wolf is back, and he’s brought a new friend: a battle ax that his ancestor Hakon, who destroyed Clan Wyvern 1000 years ago, inhabits. It’s up to Goliath and Hudson to face the Vikings’ vengeance. Another angry individual is also seeking revenge on the gargoyles. And he’s packing some sweet firepower. Will Hudson and Goliath be able to face all three foes?

House Xanatos makes a valiant effort to defeat Oberon and save newborn Alexander Fox Xanatos, but they’re no match for the Lord of the Fey. Not even the gargoyles can defeat him. But there’s one nuisance left for the Lord: The Puck. And he’s got an amazing story to tell. Will the trickster’s tale sway Oberon, or will the he insist on taking Alex back to Avalon to be trained in his mystical heritage?
