David Xanatos threatens to destroy an Indian sand carving, but it’s really an elaborate trap for the trickster Coyote, a fey. Why? Immortality, of course. Ignoring previous setbacks in this goal (turning the city to stone, turning his right-hand man’s left hand to stone…), he forges on. Besides facing Xanatos, Goliath and Co will also have to fight the new and improved robot Coyote 4.o. Its magic-imbued iron claws are the least of their worries, though. With all his advantages, will Xanatos finally achieve immortality?
It’s Xanatos vs the Maza family today. Rather, they’re sticking their noses in his business again and reaping the consequences. But what is his business? Supposedly he’s about to wipe out an Indian sand carving. But why? Wouldn’t you like to know.
There are plenty of mysteries in this ep: a tornado with a coyote’s face tosses Xanatos Construction’s ‘dozers, a security guard looks exactly like a young Peter Maza, Xanatos hunts said security guard… There’s more at play and at stake than meets the eye.
Manhattan isn’t the only city with a gargoyles clan guarding it. And the Manhattan Clan aren’t the only gargoyles having issues with a businessman who’s taken an interest in them. In a small town in Japan, theme-park developer Taro is obsessed with making a gargoyles-based Disneyland – whether the gargoyles want to be part of it or not. While one of the clan likes the idea, the rest aren’t so thrilled. How will Goliath and Co’s arrival change the situation?
We’re throwing convention to the wind and jumping genres! Rather than magical creatures, we’re facing an alien. On Easter Island. And not one who wants to phone home or abduct humans. No, this alien is determined to protect earth. He is a sentinel in the Galactic War. Sounds great until he decides the gargoyles are hostile aliens. As a sentinel, he can’t be a warden. He can only be an executioner. To make matters worse, he’s given Elisa amnesia. Will she figure out the gargoyles are on her side, or will she believe the alien?
It’s Captain Planet meets Gargoyles! Sort of. There are no rings that summon a green defender of the Earth. There is, however, a magical artifact that bestows the ability to stay awake during the day to the gargoyles. (We humans have a similar invention: caffeine.) Irreplaceable rain-forest plants are in danger from corporate America’s greed, and only a small band of native gargoyles stands between them and extinction. Jackal and Hyena have signed on as contract killers, eager to hunt down the gargoyles. Can Goliath, Angela, Elisa, and Bronx make a difference?
Humans fear what they don’t understand, but is this also true of other sentient races? What about races more technologically advanced than humans? Elisa is about to find the answer. To make matters worse, she becomes the pawn of Proteus, a shapeshifting murderer who would love nothing better than to destroy the hidden island of New Olympus. Think Loki minus the aliens from another dimension.

They’re not even USPS. Goliath is dead-set against handing it over. He’s so determined that he dons the Eye himself. Now he’s going to protect his people – whether they like it or not.
