Soul swapping is never simple, and managing souls that don’t have bodies is no different. With Iago in Brooklyn, Desdemona in Angela, and Othello in Broadway, we’ve got a mess to fix. Plus, there are a few other souls floating around: Alex and Puck. Who’s going to sort this out? Leave that to the trickster fey and the 3-month-old Alex. Gargoyles: Possession – Episode Review

Xanatos wants to thank the clan for saving his son. What better thank-you than sorting out the three souls in Coldstone’s body? Problem is, Xanatos and Demona created Coldstone through science and sorcery. It will take science and sorcery again to sort out the souls. Without Demona, Xanatos doesn’t have any magic users at his disposal, though. Or does he? The answer is much closer than he thinks.

House Xanatos makes a valiant effort to defeat Oberon and save newborn Alexander Fox Xanatos, but they’re no match for the Lord of the Fey. Not even the gargoyles can defeat him. But there’s one nuisance left for the Lord: The Puck. And he’s got an amazing story to tell. Will the trickster’s tale sway Oberon, or will the he insist on taking Alex back to Avalon to be trained in his mystical heritage?

House Xanatos’s forces are drawn to hold Oberon at bay, but will the force field Owen designed be enough to keep the Lord of the Fey from taking young Alexander Fox Xanatos from his parents? Goliath rallies the clan to lend their support, despite their rough history with Xanatos and Fox. Even Renard is on board to help his grandson, putting his hatred of his son-in-law aside. But Oberon is big enough to handle their challenge. Or is he?

Gargoyles: The Gathering – Episode Review Continued

Titania, Queen of Avalon and of the Third Race, thinks it would be best if her grandson came to Avalon to develop his magical powers. Great, except he wouldn’t see his parents again. Oh, and he’s not even a day old. Using the hour of amnesty Lord Oberon grants House Xanatos, the humans prepare to fight the fey. Owen has already installed a state-of-the-art force field and security system, but will it be enough? Xanatos will have to test it alone, though, because Owen is deserting.

The Gathering has begun; the fey, Oberon’s Children, are returning to Avalon to pay homage to Lord Oberon. But one is missing: The Puck. Taking this personally, Oberon goes to hunt down the trickster. Meanwhile, another family reunion is taking place. The reason for this gathering? Alexander Fox Xanatos, son of David and Fox, has been born. But all is not as it seems. An uninvited guest will bring startling revelations about Alex’s heritage.

Gargoyles: Future Tense – Episode Review

Goliath, Elisa, Angela, and Bronx finally reach NYC again. But it’s not what they remember. It’s 40 years in the future, and this Big Apple is rotten to the core. The source? Xanatos’s Eyrie Building, which has expanded to cover the city. Manhattan is a sovereign nation with House Xanatos on its throne. This isn’t a utopia, though, it’s a dystopia. And Xanatos has plans to spread his glorious order across the globe. However, the resistance is doing its best to fight back. Will their efforts and their “secret weapon” be enough to defeat an apparently immortal Xanatos and his armies of Mutates and cloned gargoyles?

Gargoyles: Walkabout – Episode Review

If you had the power to reshape the world to your desire, would you use it? Caveat: it could easily destroy the world instead. And you don’t get a spaceship. Fox has the power – or believes she does. Enter the Matrix. No, not the idyllic world of a dystopian future. I mean the flood of metallic silver goo that will cover the globe if it goes uncontrolled. And…it just got loose. It’s up to Dingo and Goliath to settle their differences and work together to save Earth.

Gargoyles: Upgrade – Episode Review Continued

The Pack is back, and they’re sicker than ever. Wolf is a wolfman, Hyena and Jackal have cybernetic enhancements – or mutilations, rather – and Dingo is in armor. Coyote is the alpha, and he’s not playing around. Who is playing? David Xanatos and Fox. Their chess game will decide the fate of the Pack and the clan. Will the Trio be able to rescue Hudson, Goliath, Elisa and Bronx before it’s too late? The role of second in command also hinges on how the Trio handles this.
